Bank Holiday Weeked

I've been so lucky to have been able to go home to my absolutely gorgeous family, and spend quality time with them this May BHW. From lazy mornings, fresh coffee, and cuddling my two cats which I miss dearly. I thought I'd update you on my weekend! So here it is...

One of my favorite things about home is my Mother, I love her to the moon (Obviously) and miss her like crazy whilst I'm away! So spending quality time cooking, relaxing and catching up on life with her is valuable to me.

Mine and my Mamma's Saturday night consisted of scented candles, a large glass of wine each, a Galaxy sharing bar, and a good ol' 80's sing song... Saturday treat night!

My two cats, Cueball and Mr. Jinx are my fur babies, and living away from home I don't get to cuddle and squeeze them as much as I'd like. So plenty of probably unwanted squeezes were given this weekend. Cueball is always moody with me when I return, he hates me leaving, but warms to me again after a few days then cries and cries when I leave.

Jinx is a nutter. He eats everything and anything in his path and rather hyperactive!

Yes, that is my cat in a brown paper Primark bag...

I was also lucky enough to catch my sister and spend some time with her this weekend, she's my absolute best friend and quite frankly my two year younger twinny. Before moving away from home we were two peas in a pod! So finding family time to spend with her is extra important!

Sunday daytime was spent being lazy, drinking fresh coffee and watching good old Sunday tele! A perfect Sunday if you ask me.

And then Sunday night my Dad took me and Mum out for Mexican food and cocktails! And oh did we take advantage. We had the lot...

Monday was a lovely day, the weather was gorgeous, so we headed out for a walk to a large nature reserve, not too far from where I live back in Manchester.

It was however extremely busy, as it was Bank Holiday Monday and the weather was half decent for once, so a little crowded but still a lovely day out.

And of course bank holiday wouldn't be bank holiday if we hadn't of stopped for Ice cream...
