My Hair Care

So recently I have been feeling URGH about my hair. I am unsure what to do with it, to cut it? To keep it long? To dye it? Strip it? I just don't know.

I used to use tons and tons of products on my hair, from oils to hairspray, with heat also being a big lover of mine back in my college days, blow dries, straighteners galore, I just couldn't resist. So now, because I didn't look after it when I was younger, its dry and split and not in good shape. Therefore I've began to experiment with different shampoos and conditioners, hoping that there is some magic formula out there which will rescue my damaged locks.

Currently I have stopped using heat on my hair whenever I can, previously I would wash my hair daily, dry it with the hottest setting on my blow dryer then use straighteners or curling tongues to style. Recently I have started washing my hair only when it needs it, (sounds gross I know) but trust me, I really think it's helping. All over the internet are posts about allowing natural oils to be produced in your hair, and how washing these out daily can cause hair to become dry. So now, when my hair starts to feel and look like it needs a wash, that is when I will wash it, usually around 3 times a week. After washing I have stopped blow drying unless absolute necessary, such as going somewhere my hair needs to look semi-decent, and have also put a side my beloved GHD's.
In between washes my new best friend has been the Batiste dry shampoo! My beloved savior for freshening up my hair.

This dry shampoo is great, however as I have dark hair it does show up quite grey/white when I spray it on, and even after rubbing it in and brushing it I can still see it! I believe you can buy batiste for dark hair, and the spray is brown, but I can't seem to find it anywhere?
If you know anywhere in the UK that sells batiste for brunette scan you let me know in the comments please! I will much appreciate it!!

Those "hair wash days" have now been took over by Loreal, there fibrology shampoo and conditioner is my most recent shampoo try! So far I'm liking it, it leaves my hair soft and shiny and smelling absolutely gorgeous!

"L'Oréal Laboratories have created their 1st hair care range to give thicker looking hair wash after wash. Specially developed with Filloxane, the shampoo formula together with the conditioner, thickens the look of hair and provides deep cleansing."

So it's science that's thickening my hair and making it so shiny!

I also suffer from such frizzy hair! Like seriously frizz bomb alert. I recently came across this product and considering it was so inexpensive I thought I would give it a try. It's Creightons "Frizz No More" and comes in a small bottle, it is the formula of a serum and claims to make hair more sleek and shiny.

This little product is actually so good and although it is inexpensive it actually works. I find that after washing my hair the ends can get super frizzy, however applying a small amount of this product tames my hair leaving it sleek. You can purchase this product from amazon, -link here

Have you any hair care products that you rely on to ensure perfect locks? I'd love to hear about products you think are worth trying, leave a message in the comments and I will get back to you, thank you x
